After resignation WFO/WFH

Hi folks, I'm serving notice period in TCS. So my question is do i need to report office compulsory? My HR was saying you cannot WFH in notice period. If I do WFH I can save almost 3 hrs of travel time , energy and can use it for my benefit. Please let me know your opinions

Don't ask HR how much you can tweak the rules, they are bound to say what they said. Do what you find good for your future. Concerns in the notice period are psychological barriers created by you yourself.
