It took me 2yrs to get project bro 🥲and after 2yrs i am allocated to support project.Not only me 50% of my trainee mates (out of 75) are still on bench for them now it's been 2.5yrs+
I Was trained in java Devops domain and got Project in SAP domain doing night shifts and all. I just accepted this project to get safe from PIP because they were firing that time. They will never give you project you have to find it by contacting managers, always stay in touch with staffing partners they have responsibility to allocate project. Sometimes they just give you project account but no work, no one will contact you. I was in Morgan Stanley project account then vanguard but no task given for 2 years then they rolled off me to bench. Advice 1: See 8 months you are getting project or not if not just resign otherwise you will waste your 2-3 years in same company like us in hope of getting project. Advice 2: Even if you are on bench its honeymoon period you can learn skills which is required right now in market you have so much time no one will monitor you, no attendance also mandatory, no one will contact you for almost year so if you are not getting project from day 1 prepare for switch.
