That depends on your total years of experience in tcs. What is your grade and year of experience?

It's win win when u have offer in hand.. you are seeing short term benefits and ignoring long term loss. Once u are not having any job.. getting hired will get tough and tougher dat by day...can one survive with 6 months gross for whole life..!??? Think

Thats a black Friday deal i would say😀 getting generously paid to leave a sinking ship😅.....I would really take it as let's say 6L for leaving TCS and then new job in a month with hike!!😀

They dont give time to fight. Only gives to option 1 ) take 6 months servance pay 2) if u are not accepting an option 1 take termination letter

You have now 6 months to find a job which is not bad and if you get a job within a month its a good deal.for you

Do you have to pay income tax on severance pay? Is there any exemption

Income tax is already deducted

6 months gross pay is still really good lol you have a decent amount of time to get a new job or invest in other monetizing projects if you land a job soon which will most likely pay higher than TCS too. All the best

How that severance calculates. If I talk about myself. 8.5 years in tcs and 35 days on bench already. What should the possibility in my case if that happens.
