Recently learned that the CTO of my company has been having an affair with an SPM. I had my doubts, since this SPM rarely contributed much at work and seemed more focused on appearances than on actual work. She's the gossip queen and seems incompetent at her job.

The SPM and the CTO come from the same college, and I’m quite certain she’ll be promoted in the next cycle through this relationship. Also discovered that she is married. Can anyone else confirm?
