Advice regarding switching from TCS

Hi fellow TCSers, I am working in a project as devops engineer for one year. My total experience is also one year. I am planning to shift the company for better opportunities. Now the problem is even though I have been tagged as a devops engineer, I don't even know what's happening around me or what am I doing. I am just doing something in Jenkins as my lead or seniors asked to do or just creating some python apis. I don't think devops really suits me. I am.thinking about searching for a python developer vacancy. What you all think? Or any advices regarding leaving TCS?

What does shifting to a new job mean? It means clearing one technical interview for your skillset. Ab naukri lagne ke baad andar jaakar kya karoge- upto you. Tereko hi sambhalna hai.
Bottom line is - if you think you’re good enough and knowledgeable enough and skilled enough to clear one technical interview any time in your skillset, then you can go ahead and change your job anytime. If you’re not good enough to do that, phir baithe raho TCS mein TCS ki salary khate khate. Bas it’s that simple.

Nobody is gonna teach you python...first you need to learn your self and then crack interview and then you can join. I would suggest utilise your time here, use it to gain knowledge on the technology you are interested in and then look for the job
