Advice on Transitioning to FTE Roles – Market Research/BD Background
Hi everyone, I’m currently working as an independent consultant with a foreign firm, primarily handling Market Research/Intelligence within Business Development activities helping to export their product in US/EU. I’ve been in this role for the past 4 years, and prior to that, I worked for 3 years at an outsourcing firm doing primary and secondary market research. I come from a Mechanical Engineering background (no MBA), but over the years, I’ve built strong experience in product research, B2B outreach, and research-driven decision support,supporting GTM strategy,niche market intelligence etc. I’m now looking to transition into a full-time position within India and would love to hear suggestions on:

Which product-based companies in India (or global firms hiring in India) would value this kind of profile? Is there chances of talking to abroad companies for hiring if not India ?

Does not having an MBA significantly impact my chances in such roles?

Any tips for highlighting independent consulting experience during applications/interviews?
