Advice on transition from management consulting in a non-tech role to AI/ML roles

Hi all,

I have 3 years of work ex in big 4 consulting but it is not a tech-role. And my undergrad is also not tech based. However I've worked on freelance projects in tech because I am really interested in these things. I have all the management skills but a non tech background doesn't help me get a shortlist.

Can someone suggest how to transition to a tech company for a non-tech role? So that I can work on AI/ML projects. Is that possible? I'm willing to put in all the hard work!
