Advice on salary negotiation
Having 3 years and 10 months of experience in MDM trying to switch, what should be my expectations. by the way my Current CTC is 6.5 LPA. I want to know because they are asking about my expectations so I don't want to miss an OL because of over expectation, because I want an OL first to negotiate further.

But I am already sitting at 6.5, you mean i should expect only 20-30 % hike ? One more thing that is confusing me a lot in negotiating is, in 3 month I will be getting 35% hike from my current organization as per the bonus program so should I consider that too when negotiating Salary?
I believe a package in the range of 9 to 10 LPA would be appropriate. Coming from a similar background and currently at a comparable package, this seems like a fair expectation. I am also in discussions with a few interviewers as I am planning to make a switch.
Thanks for the advice, but another factor is I am getting a hike of 35% in the month of March in my current organization that will make my CTC around 9 LPA, should i consider that in my salary negotiation or is it better to wait for 3 more months to switch?
