Advice on job offer
I received a congratulatory email from the HR team at Target Corporation confirming that I’ve cleared all the interview rounds for the Senior Backend Engineer role. They've requested that I share documents such as payslips and other personal information.
However, this request was made prior to any discussion about the compensation package or details about the team I’d be joining, which raises a concern for me.
I’d like to understand if it’s advisable to share these documents at this stage without clarity on the offer and team alignment.
Also, I’m curious to know what the typical compensation range is for a Senior Backend Engineer at Target Corporation. Do they follow a fixed internal salary band, or is the offer based primarily on the candidate’s current compensation? YOE : 5

There’s usually a fixed internal band for every level and role at Target. And yes, getting your documents in before the offer is the norm

Well I have mailed the HR regarding discussion of comp and team I will be part of 2days ago, didnt get any reply or callback. Starting to feel they have ghosted me !

Yeah. This has become a norm now. I absolutely don't understand what's the urgency to get hold of your documents before rolling out an employee agreement. Very weird.
Also, HOW DID YOU APPLY TO THE ROLE AT TARGET? Me and my friend have been applying to multiple roles in target for almost two months now. Not a single response from HR team, but we always get rejected within 10hrs. It's like, my application never even probably made it through HR eyes

Applied through Instahyre
