Advice Needed Urgently

Want to Switch Roles – From Scrum Master to a More Technical, Future-Proof Career (Web Dev / AI / DevOps)

I'm currently working as a Scrum Master, but lately, I’ve been feeling the need to pivot to a more hands-on technical role that’s future-proof and in high demand. I’m considering transitioning into either Web Development, DevOps, or even something in the AI/ML space.

A bit about me:

I have an MBA in Information Management from a Tier-1 B-school

I’ve been working in agile teams for 6 years and understand the software development lifecycle quite well

But I'm not coding or building things myself, and that’s what I want to change

I want to create, learn constantly, and stay relevant in the tech world as it evolves. Right now, I feel like being a Scrum Master puts me on the sidelines of actual tech progress. I’d rather be in the game than just managing it.

Would love to hear from folks who’ve made a similar switch, especially from non-coding or managerial roles into more technical ones.

Which of these domains—web dev, AI/ML, or DevOps—would you recommend in terms of learning curve, market demand, and long-term potential?

Any course/certification recommendations?

How did you make the leap and prove your skills?

Appreciate any tips or advice. Thanks in advance.
