Advice Needed on Offer Reconsideration and Salary Negotiation
I have been working with TCS for the past three years and have received one appraisal of around 7%. My current CTC at TCS is 16.2 LPA. Recently, I received an offer from Accenture for 21.8 LPA, with 27% of it being variable pay. However, I declined the offer. Now, I am feeling a bit of regret and unsure whether I made the right decision, as I didn’t necessarily want to leave TCS, especially since I live nearby.
I have two questions: 1. Even though I have declined the Accenture offer, can I use it as leverage to negotiate a salary increase at TCS? 2. Is there any possibility of reaching out to Accenture to reconsider my rejection and take the offer back?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know your technology, BU or project. But generally if I were you, this is what I will do.
- I will analyse how important iam in the project. Am I the critical resource.
- How good i interact with program manager. Will he retain me? Just have a general talk without revealing about the offer rejection.
- Use only the offer letter, resign and try for better offers.
- If i don't get any offers, i will revoke the resignation and stay back with the same.
This is my suggestion to you brother. Please feel free to ping me further.

Currently i am crtical resource but project is ending next year so i am not able to figure out if they will retain me or not also i am expertise in niche skill i dont want to leave company but as u know retention is the only option to get hike
