Advance earned leave

I had taken 5 days of advance earned leave in November last year because i had no leave balance. However the leaves taken in advance did not get deducted in the following quarters.

Does anybody have any idea how advance earned leave here in TCS work.

PS- since its TCS, i dare not think for a while that those 5 days just forgone.
