Well there's no going back to current or previous prices for them at any point. Prices will increase faster than premium exclusive features
There is still a way to block the ads using ublock origin. Just add some filters
What are the filters ..?
add the following as filters for ublock origin:
youtube.com##+js(set, Object.prototype.adBlocksFound, 0) youtube.com##+js(set, ytplayer.config.args.raw_player_response.adPlacements, []) youtube.com##+js(set, Object.prototype.hasAllowedInstreamAd, true)```
YouTube premium family plan is dirt cheap, 190 ₹ per month for 6 accounts (you+ 5 other family members) . Best 190 ₹ ever spent.
Each member gets music + ad free YouTube without any compromise in privacy or security i.e no password sharing required.
I will never understand people will be willing to spend money on expensive cafes and Alcohol but will not opt for YouTube premium. The best investment I have made and way better than Other OTT subscription.

Guys share a yt premium family subscription it's hardly ₹50 per month per user in India, save the mental bandwidth for other stuff.
Help me with something, why would/how could they offer a service, as big as YouTube (or be it anything), for free, and that too on a large scale?
