Actual Requirement for a Cyber Security Engineer at GOOGLE

So I am in cybersecurity. To be more precise I am in SIEM Engineering who at present works in Deloitte USI. My work consists of Log Source onboarding, parsing and normalizing of the logs. I am facing a lot of problems finding projects in USI, hiring managers are rejecting me coz I don't have experience in Detection Engineering and SOAR in Google Secops/chronicle. I am a guy who likes to build a lab and practise stuff, since Google SecOps platform is paid I am having trouble.

I don't want this kind of stuff. I want to know what does it really take to be able to get hired as a cybersecurity professional at Google? or any FAANG companies for that matter. Certs? Experience? or Home lab experience should be sufficient with opensource tools
