Trending @Accenture; Achieved L11 last month, and finally threw a party for my college friend group
Last month was a happy one for me, I finally went from L12 to L11 and got almost a 25% hike vs. my last salary. I know L11 might not be a very big deal for many of us.
But the context is that I went to college in a place where I had to be financial burden on my parents. I had college friends (my best friend group of 4) who came from business families, and always had more money.
Many times, they would go out to party and I would make up excuses to avoid spending money . Sometimes even they understood and would pay on my behalf - they are the nicest people. I remember we once went to Goa, and after the day they said we will go for clubbing now. They said cover charge is 5K, and that is too much, and I was the only one who came back to hotel room and avoided going.
Long story short, I finally gave them a party (it was long due), and for the first time ever i paid for the alcohol and snacks. Just as a thank you for them supporting me always and helping me reach here.
Sorry for the long message, but I am just thankful that life is better now, and I can finally send money back home instead of being burden :)

Can you share how many months you worked at L12 and how did you manage to get a promotion, p.s. i just joined at L12, so very curious

Congratulations. How many years taking level 12 to 11 movement. I have completed 2 years but not getting any promotion and salary hike also

Congrats was it because of techleap?

yes, this was because of Techleap

Bro @GrubbyPan I'm not sure what you're to achieve here (maybe some attention), to me it doesn't make any sense.
