Account release

I got an onsite opportunity in a different project. I have completed 2 years in my current project. Current project manager is not approving transit to new project. What can be done to take release? I don't want to get into fight by saying no to work

Escalate to HR or higher management. If that fails, start documenting everything and subtly reduce your efficiency. Sometimes, you have to play the game to win.
