I have been looking for job since oct 24, i am data analyst and proficient in sql, power bi, excel, python with 5 yoe. I got an offer and resigned at my job in november. Since i had a wedding at home i stopped interviewing further. The offer was reverted in dec end when i was close to my notice period end. Now i am not getting calls for data analyst position. Is the market not good for data analyst position right now? I want to know some good companies to apply in bengaluru which are hiring.

Data engineer but not with paytm anymore
My role is around making dashboards and data visualisation. Do you know if this role can be converted into data engineering by learning few technologies like apache spark?
Does your role also involve writing sql queries and build logics. If yes you can transform by learning scala/java along with spark and a cloud is also must. Preferably AWS/gcp for commercial companies/bank

Very few companies are hiring for this role as they have already hired a lot at these positions, as per my circle lot of companies about to cut off data analyst positions. Advice to you switch to a data engineer role and look for the job with Java/scala programming language
