Hello, we got mail that it's mandatory to be in the base location from December 1, 2024. Currently people from my project are distributed across all locations in India and we are 2 people from coimbatore. My senior however has dropped paper and will be leaving in December.
The seats are limited in Coimbatore location and I heard they are closing down a few of Mumbai offices as well. What is the point of being in the base location?? It just expensive for stay, food and travel considering the pay they give and very little hike and vp.
When you again received mail?? It was in the beginning of September only they sent mail
No salary hikes or promotions for 2 years now and they want us to spend OUT OF OUR OWN POCKET and relocate to a location of their preference? How does that work? Atleast they should have the decency to compensate for such cases.
Not sure what type of people are making these horrible decisions anymore… there’s now a clear distinction between management pre and post COVID
Have been getting these emails since past one year. It's completely dependent on your manager. I am working in Accenture for past 3 years and hardly been to office for 5-6 times.
just ask any of your friends staying in that location to make a fake rent receipt or pg bill and say you are there
How do they track whether we are working from base location or not?
no one has a direct answer for the question, there used to be some old Accenture process where if you are not connecting from base location for x months your Id will be revoked automatically not sure whether they are going to follow this, if your project is not forcing you to visit office every week then just give a fake receipt and visit office once or twice a month.
