Accenture's promotion criteria is a murky territory. It's not just about time spent or experience, it's a convoluted mix of politics, favoritism, and sometimes, performance.

One important tip
Please please please keep good comms with your manager. Please don't expect that managers understand what you need.
They want you to work, they don't care for your life. Promotions will be in the hands of MD of your account. Your manager should strongly recommend why you need to be promoted, how much cost you saved, what's the revenue company will get

Performance is crucial, but favoritism and managerial discretion play significant roles. If you are first timer, you need to keep this in mind

Remember: Hikes will always be 10-20% for junior employees and 5-18% for senior employees.
A bit higher if you are in technical domain. Switching jobs is the best way to grow your pay, if that is your goal.
If it's MBA/MS, then butter up your managers
