Trending @Accenture; Accenture PIP – Training-based PIP. What are the real chances of retention?
I’ve been put on a 4-week PIP starting late January based on the annual performance outcome. The PIP mainly includes behavioral training, technical skill training, and one cross-skill activity aligned with my current project work. The tasks look realistic and achievable. My manager and people lead appear supportive and have set weekly review check-ins. I wanted to understand from others who have gone through similar training-based PIPs in Accenture: If all tasks and training are completed properly and feedback is positive, what are the real chances of being removed from PIP and continuing in the project? Looking for genuine experiences.

A 100% chance of being retained if you clear the weekly objectives set in the PIP. Please make sure that you agree to the outcome as a team. If you don’t agree with the outcome your PL is giving, you can challenge that with data points but once an outcome is set in the tool, there is no changing that. Also, to clear the PIP, you must achieve the outcomes for all 4 weeks. If either if that is not met, they can argue that the PIP was not successful.
