Accenture performance improvement plan

What is the difference between Accenture’s PIP and IP? Most of the companies only have a performance improvement plan (PIP) so I am aware of that. Can anyone explain what is this IP and how is it different from PIP?

When you work at a company, you get salary hikes and promotions based on your performance reviews. In every organisation, employee performances are reviewed. If it is seen that an employee is not improving his/her performance or consistently making mistakes in their work, they are put on PIP, which is the Performance Improvement Plan. At Accenture also, this policy is followed. After reviewing an employee’s performance, if the employer thinks he/she need to improve performance, then the person is put on the PIP.
