Career Dilemma: Got an offer from Accenture, but current manager wants to retain me. Project opportunity blocked due to resignation. HR and dept head in loop, but no clarity yet. Should I push for retention or move on? Any advice? 🤔💼
HR directs me to dept head and Dept head said she will speak with me and will ping me once she is available. No response yet. so not sure....

Hey do update whts the status of your retention here or any further discuss happened with hr or managr?

I follow up with practice lead and dropped message that..."just a gentle reminder on our pending connect. will wait to hear from you. thanks!" she read my message and No response on that.
Not sure what does it mean? does it mean that they are not interested in my retention? if thats the case then why manager asked me send my external offer to her and HR?
Don't know whats going on.
Due to this situation or scenario RMG is not giving me any project calls whereas focusing on new hires.
Practice lead also saying that they are going to hire some people in our dept.
I think their focus is on new hiring and not on retention I guess.
Lets see.

Here they definitely finding new candidate for your replacement, so now you have to find good opportunity outside, they might come at the end of your notice period to offer you retention at lower counter offer so be ready with your new opportunity. Do not sacrifice ! Keep posting here if you get any further communication

Mostly they will be given an offer. based on the project budget
