Accenture Offering ~18–21 LPA to a 2.8 YOE Java Dev — Confused or Lucky? Need Suggestions
Hi everyone, Need some honest suggestions from the community. I am a Java Developer with 2.8 years of experience, currently serving my notice period (ending next week). Here is my situation: • Initially got offer from Accenture → 9.1 L fixed + 1.9 L variable (Pune) • I performed very well in client round — solved problem solving questions and did pair programming with client • Later received another offer from John Deere → 18 L fixed + 1 L variable (Pune) Now things got confusing. Accenture is suddenly very eager to hire me and is ready to match this offer, which seems way outside their normal internal band (from what I know). I am not able to understand why. Currently, I have asked them for 21 L fixed at my hometown location, and I will know their response tomorrow. I am honestly confused: Is this normal in current market? Is this a red flag? Should I be cautious if they are stretching band this much? Anyone experienced something similar? Would really appreciate suggestions or insights. Thanks in advance!

Thats too much by Accenture but sure u need to crosscheck.

Accenture is ready to match the offer, they are constantly following up with me even when I show no interest

So take it bro. I dont know much how red flags are seen.
