Accenture Offer Location Confusion – Recruiter Discussion vs Offer Letter

Recently received an offer from Accenture ATCI for an SAP role (Level 10 – Packaged App Development Senior Analyst).

The offer letter mentions Gurugram as the base location, but during discussions with the recruiter I had clearly mentioned Mumbai as my preferred location.

Since joining is still some time away, I wanted to understand from people already working at Accenture:

• How flexible is Accenture with location changes after the offer letter is issued?
• Is it possible to get the base location updated before onboarding, or does it usually depend on project allocation after joining?
• If the offer letter mentions one location but the project is in another city, do they allow working from that city?

Would appreciate insights from anyone who has gone through a similar situation.
