Trending @Accenture; Accenture mgmt thinks people don't have their hometowns outside of base location. Everyone was born in a metro city.
Their motto is "let's fu*king increase population density in an already heavily populated city"

True. In my case I'm a returning mom , they provide wfo exception for new moms. But with a condition that I have to be in my base location and do wfh. In my case I'm at my parents house. And Hr is stubborn and asks me to return to the base location.😓

Ignore hr...just tell hr that u r in base location but u can stay at parents location

I know people here saying before Covid and bla bla
I am sure few of you have family settled at same location as office location so for you going for two hrs makes no difference
But literally if they talk about work flexibility and hybrid there should be some leeway for few days or a month in a year for people to be at their hometown and work no one will ask 365 days but even 30 to 45 days should be a norm if hybrid culture needs to be there

Oh believe me! Except IBM, every service and product based company they own their employees. Am manager but I had to fly to another location after covid. More than management you got know your HRs. They say they are with supporting mentally wellness and all... But they pick up excel of who is coming to the office from the card swipe and send it to DU leads first thing every Monday morning. So if you think management is holding the gun just look a little behind and see who is holding the gun on their heads.
So next time HR says open door sessions don't fall for their sweet smiles.

Boss u said they filter out excel... Right now are they checking like from which location employee is doing swipe

Lock down made you too comfortable, otherwise it was 5 day wfo from your BASE location
