Trending @Accenture; Accenture is not for Freshers

For freshers, who are joining Accenture in the upcoming time. Please don't join. Accenture will ruin your future. If you already have some skills and want to continue in it. Then reject your offer letter and try to grab a job in startups.

Here most of the projects are related to sap and other erp software which has no future. No one here has skills even if they are working for 6-7 years. Bloody lazy and rude people. They want to stay here for their whole life. They don't even try to switch because they know they don't have skills.

So freshers, please yaha se door raho agar life me sach me kuchh karna chahte ho.

Most of the people are on the bench. I talked to a person who has been on the bench for 2 years. He doesn't have any experience, how he will switch ? Even I'm on the bench for 1 year. That's why I am suggesting you all to stay away from Accenture.

Totally agree with you.. if you're fresher with really good skills, don't join here. Accenture has nothing to do with what you're good at. They just assign any work to anyone. You'll feel like you don't have much work pressure and getting paid for doing relevant nothing, BEWARE it's a trap. You'll end up after 2 yoe and no actual skill.

I'm in the same situation right now, it's been 1 year here now. Not able to switch.

Learn a new skill , get proficiency on mycompetency portal, go to jobsgetway portal and switch to another project based on secondary skill. Make sure secondary skill have more proficiency than primary one.

I have seen openings for SAP cloud jobs in FAANG companies. Apple is using SAP. Out of FAANG as well, companies like Microsoft are using SAP.

But I don't think you will get opportunities like software development in SAP that's my point.

If you compare with Machine learning, Gen AI, Fullstack development etc, you are right SAP has limited opportunities and also the pay might not be the best. But coming to the number of projects/market demand for organization level softwares still SAP leads and there are so many opportunities.

Is SAP and other ERP software has no future?

SparklyLlama

I think SAP gives you only limited opportunities. You can't get into any FAANGM level company through SAP. And I would say SAP's technical side is still better than the functional side. You can't get much pay through SAP.

It's not true that we can't get in FAANG level company with SAP. There are openings for SAP jobs in FAANG.

Exact words I want to tell to everybody, I'm not telling about the people who are satisfied with their project but I'm telling people like us it's waste to join in this bloody company all are sap projects

Definitely buddy, SAP is the most low demanding erp software now the times. And limited opportunities are there in it. I hate it and the people who thinks that SAP is best. Their interface is also like the old crt screen monitors with windows xp.

I got tagged into a project just after training, it's regarding business process management. The team is supportive, get extra pay if I work extra. Touchwood. Though, I get worried about the future in this stream, but I don't wanna do DSA and coding, so I'm good!

SparklyLlama

If you are worried about the future of the stream and still want to stay here then I hope god will give you some strength. Because if your stream is good then you should not worry about it. If your stream is good then you can switch easily.

Yeah, but if you are happy in this 30-40 k job then I will not say anything. All the best.

I am fresher and I received a ppo from accenture and training and placement of my college forced me to accept it as they have to increase the no. of placed students. I tried off-campus but it is full of cheating and college tag. So, for now I only have an offer from Accenture. Can you please suggest some tips which I can use to get good development related projects? I had done 2 month internship in accenture gurgaon office and know that they work on latest techstacks also. But how to grasp those projects in lesser bench time is what I want to know as many of them demand experience? Will internship exp help in those cases? Will more relevant projects help in more chance of getting selected?

Tips from everyone are welcome.

Ok see the projects allocation is totally based on your stream training. If you are from cs/it background then most probably you will get technical stream training but ece/eee and other students would get erp based and rubbish work.

Also for cs/it people you have to stay on bench and if you are on bench then your stream training doesn't matter. PMO will try to allot you any project from any domain. And you can't take a roll off from that project before 18 months in it. If you have skills , then try to get a job in a startup , gain some experience and then apply in Accenture or other mncs, you will get high pay as well as your domain projects.

Accenture can be a mixed bag for freshers. Some find it beneficial, while others face challenges like bench time. Consider your career goals and options carefully before deciding.
