Heard this morning from a friend who works at Accenture India, layoffs have begin once more. He said he is not sure if this is part of the 19000 that was announced during the earnings call.

Layoffs done by high paying unicorns and big techs is still understandable but why are service based companies doing layoffs? They anyways pay low.

Why is big tech layoffs understandable? Almost everyone is profitable, in billions of dollars except Amazon.
Service companies won't get much projects during difficult times like these. Very less projects and a lot of employees
