Trending @Accenture; Accenture feed is like…life revolves around hike and appraisals only. What shit!
Life is more than hike and appraisals. Money is important and we feel frustrated if we don’t get hike after working our ass off but let’s not only focus on hikes and appraisals.
Ps: I am not from HR 🙃

You are a manager. Of course life is more than that to you. What about people who have just started their career and seen no growth in 2 years. That feeling of being stuck and the pressure from outside to switch is real. Do not ask people to not worry about it.
I was at your career stage once. Obsessing about hike and appraisal did not help. If you think it helps you then go ahead do it. All I am saying is life is more than that. I started my career with 18k p.m so I know what I am talking about.
Further you can always move out. The market is such that you won’t be able to or it’s damn difficult. All the best.

I agree with you. There are many folks who didn’t get any hike for years and I can understand it because I’m one of them. But being sad or angry or depressed about it didn’t make my life any better. Then I just stopped thinking about it and trying to have a peaceful life. But that doesn’t mean I am okay with whatever I have now and stopped trying. I am trying for a better pay and at the same time aiming for a peaceful life.
Kudos man. Appreciate you moving on and trying to do better things

Why does the company plan for revenue and growth , and so the client organization. But the employee need to care about life beyond money ..... knowledge .... blaah blaah...
At the last every one need money to live for self and family
No bla bla…overthinking leads to stress and stress to anxiety. Why you want to live with anxiety? Better to focus on things that are in your control like preparing for external interviews and leave this org rather than cribbing about salary at Acn

Then lets focus on switching after getting VP

After working in accenture for years I realized that not fighting for promotion and hike was wrong. One of my friend in Accenture at level 6 got laid off with PIP unfairly and now he cant find a job, how is he to take care of family, old parents? Make the most income when you are working. Nothing wrong in it
I know…do fight for hike and increments but randomly posting here and talking about it everyday is not good for health

😂
