The only way you might get it is if you quit or if you catch on to their tricks. So, don't be fooled by the total CTC they offer; focus on the fixed pay instead. The average employees are lucky if they get even 6% variable pay.

Now, let's talk about performance bonuses criteria. There's no clear method for deciding who gets them. They're basically handed out equally, and sometimes the favorites get a little extra.
