Accenture Application Lead Position

Hello, I am jab Tak overall 6 years of experience. Accenture offered me lead Position. So do I need to lead the team as I am only having 6yrs or exp and I never led. So is this like as per company policy they have given designation as lead as in interview also not much questions related to lead... Can someone please help me here...
