Accdiently entered into web scraping industry.

A few months ago, I was working with Selenium and BeautifulSoup for web scraping. While building scraping scripts, I realized how difficult and time-consuming it is to create a reliable scraper.

That’s when I started building an application that can extract data from e-commerce sites (product title, price, etc.) in just 4 clicks. The idea is simple: give users full control and transparency over the process — no black box and no AI guessing what to extract.

But now I’m wondering… do people actually need something like this? Do people buy tools like this. Because market for that segment is very nich.

I didn’t really know what was in my mind when I started building this application. The only thing I knew was that I wanted to make web scraping simpler and more cost-effective. I believe this industry needs some change.

application is available in both web extension and destop version.

With Agentic AI and Coding assistants arrival, everybody is making apps and websites these days. The problem with that is, unless it is extremely unique idea, and amazingly executed and advertised, it just won’t work.

There are just too many apps and websites being floated these days. So many products all around, but no users for most.

You are right, unless it is unique and executed well no one will buy it.

Sell APIs for cheap but it's harder to trust new vibe coders. In terms of reliability and uptime.
It's useful that many companies rely on keepa for the same purpose.
