Academic Break - Is it viable in current job market?

I am planning a 9-month academic break to upskill and deepen my expertise. With AI increasingly automating repetitive and lower-skill roles, I believe now is the right time to invest in future-ready capabilities and ensure long-term career relevance.

I am currently a data analyst at 2 - wheeler manufacturing company and is part of analytics team meaning who does not deal with modelling and advanced stuff.

Would appreciate your thoughts on the viability of taking such a break in this fast-changing job landscape

Dont leave your job to do an executive program unless it's from Tier-1 college.

Even if it's tier 1 , online executive courses don't require you to leave job. They are called executive courses for that reason

No need for a career break, upskilling can be done side by side taking some extra efforts.
