Abusive work environment, 10+ hours a day shift, and many more...
I'm just a junior engineer with one year of experience, one day someone contacted me to build a product. Great product idea so after some time I leave my job for a lower salary to build that product with him. And it's the biggest mistake of my life. Too abusive man, he abuses more than he talks, forcing me to work on weekends and a normal 10+ hours shift. They want a complete feature within a day and if it's not completed then he starts to abuse, tells me that if I can't complete it today he will cut my salary. I worked the last 15 days of December 12+ hours. I'm mentally fed-up , stressed, and can't get any sleep. I will resign tomorrow, and after serving some notice period I will take some time to figure out what to do next. It's horrible and this is on me . I have the responsibilities of my family but they understand my situation and I have some money to handle for the next 3 months. Let's see how it goes.... Need your view on this and any advice if you have....

@GaliKaKutta - do not put unwanted pressure on yourself saying it's on me etc.
Glad that you're leaving this toxic place and manager. You're standing for what you believe is right for you - do not feel bad at all for this.
Good luck with your next role.
There are many people earning good money working decent hours and not being subject to torture no one is solving world hunger or saving lives in the end all are corporate slaves like bank employees in past innovation hard work all that is bull shit
Do normal hard work 6 to 8 hours of focused work
Breaks colleagues coffee lunches
If your not getting all this then place is toxic

Good that you have a runway. Put effort in job search through referrals and cold reach out to hiring managers. Build your portfolio which you can showcase. All these things will help.
Thanks to everyone for sharing their views, I'm giving myself 3 months for new learnings and some projects I've in my mind. Don't know what the future has for me but I will be better than my previous self which I will be proud of. Leaving is the last choice for me as my family is dependent on me. The excess stress, workload and abusive work environment forced me to do so. I was blamed for things which I haven't done and things that aren't my control in front of everyone. So yeah that's it, I'm pretty sure that their operations will collapse after I'm gone in a few months if they continue with their ass licking employees. I will let you know what I achieved by the end of March 25. Again thanks to everyone for sharing their views. Have a great year ahead
