Trending @Infosys; Abusive Loan agent call
An individual claiming to be a loan collection agent contacted me regarding a third party I do not know.
During the call, the individual became verbally abusive. Of particular concern is that the caller explicitly mentioned my current role as a Technology Lead and my specific office location, implying they are using my professional identity to exert pressure.
The employee name which they mentioned, I have found the person available by searching in teams .
What action I need to take ? Do i need to report Infosys
Which bank or finance loan you have taken?
Not me , someone else from my Base location even I am not aware of that person ..she is also a tech lead by verifying from teams ...they may be trying put pressure on that person by calling colleagues...but how they got my number and even my job role , thats my concern
App based loans usually when signing up also pulls the list of contacts from the persons mobile.
