Hi, I have got a job opportunity in Abu Dhabi 30k AED. Currently earning 55 LPA in India. Does it makes sense financially to move ?

I think 30k aed would be better as it is tax free. If you have other considerations like taking family there, i am not sure. But if you are bachelor, 30k aed would be better. Btw, if you don't, can you please let me know on how you got this opportunity?

Family of 3, 1 year old kid. I have applied through LinkedIn, reached out to HR. I have similar experience in India that helped. But I have tried for more than 3 months to land this one opportunity.

Go to Abu Dhabi.. 30k AED is 4x vs. your monthly salary in India at 55 LPA. It makes a lot of sense to take this offer.

How is it 4x it's 2.5x

30k will be less for a family of 3 there if you are solo earner.

Okay, what would be the right compensation to move ?

Exactly. You should go alone and live a little modestly as things are expensive in Abu Dhabi in comparison. Once you realise that you can sustain in the salary, take your family. Assuming 55L, you would be living an upper middle class life here. It will not be the same in Abu Dhabi

If you are taking you're family. Don't do.

Only you going and earning. It's fine.
