Absent without leave !!!
Can I just bunk the office without applying a leave? Or in the second case, can I just send the mail and inform the manager and team that I will be on leave on any particular day without applying a leave?
And what will be the result if I am caught? Please anybody explain every scenario.
Why do you want to skip applying for leave in system in first place? Any reason behind it? I am not sure if you are aware, every leave record is tracked that means when you inform your manager about taking leave they will ask you to share the leave applied reference given by the system as they need to maintain the records for audit purpose. So when you miss applying for leave unintentionally once or twice that may be accepted with a warning to avoid in future. How long are you working in TCS?
But again it will lead to disciplinary action and there are chances they may scrutinize and check all your records like swipe in swipe out and login hours etc.. if you have a genuine reason to take leave inform your leads and follow the process.. this is for your own benefit and not for the company.
Thanks for the explanation, but I am asking about it because my manager or supervisor didn't ask about anything related to leave or why didn't you come. And what could happen in the worst case if they cross check the leaves and tap-in tap-out record or odc timing or whatever? FYI I'm new in TCS and haven't even completed 1 year.
If your on leave and haven't applied it then time sheet supervisor will come to know the things from Your lead or manager which will again come as a question to you
If you are tagged in project where you have to fill.both tcs and client Timesheet then there will.be a problem and if You forgot then they will ask to apply some other day in system and login for the day as Your daily routine
