Hi, can someone please help me know how can I approach one of the companies I had joined 5 yrs back but left within a week without serving notice period to do the settlement and adjust my date of exit in EPFO.
I joined a company 5 yrs back at a diff location instead of my base location but then due to some urgent family issues I had to leave it in a week without serving notice period. They kept giving me salary and pf contribution for 2 months. Meanwhile after a month I joined a contract job after 1 month in my base location. Later I changed to 2 big IT companies but in there BGC nothing happened it got cleared. Now recently I tried to switch to other company but in their BGC they asked for UAN no and said that I have overlapping PF for 2 companies for 1 month so it’s a case on moon lighting and they can’t give me offer letter.
I tried to mail to the company which I absconded from due to genuine reasons to ask them that I am ready to do the settlement and if they can adjust the leaving date in there system and epfo, but after repeated efforts no one is replying.
Can anyone please help what should I do in such case 🙏
You can request change of last working date in EPFO portal. They do it. It should be done. :-)
