I joined Infosys last month and was allocated to a project that is marked as a "Production" type. However, since joining, I have not been assigned any concrete work, nor have there been any team calls or meetings. My current activity is limited to changing project codes, even though the project type still remains as Production.
I reached out to my manager regarding the situation, and he mentioned that I would be assigned to another project soon. However, there have been no updates or progress so far.
I am concerned about the lack of work and engagement, as I want to contribute meaningfully and continue growing in my role. I would appreciate any suggestions or guidance on how to handle this situation professionally and ensure I remain productive and visible within the organization.
Reach out to your TPD or HR after 3 months no one is interested to assign you in a project but as you are saying ur in production code then no worries at all.
That happened with almost everyone, personally I too had to wait for 2.5 months to actually get enagaged in a concrete project. Before that I was allocated different projects without any work.
