Cons: Make sure any request that comes directly from the client is validated by your supervisor. Sometimes clients may ask you to work on something that is completely outside our scope.

Clients can be irritating sometimes, they play their own political games when directly in contact with person in charge of development activities. Just make sure any request/requirement is validated by your supervisor and get it on mail.
