A lot of big FAANG companies require java but i have only 3 yoe javascript background. Is there a way to land a job there?

I have 3 years of javascript background but faang companies require java in a lot of their job postings. Is there any way to get job based on javascript and learn java on the job or do i have to learn java and start from beginning or is there any other way to get into big companies that have different tech requirements than i have experience in?
