A Day in TCS

A DM was on half day leave , applied leave in the system , have put teams OOO notification also.The next day she hears “A person cannot be a DM if he/she doesn’t answer calls”. This issue has been escalated to her super boss and her super boss is suggesting that from now on “atleast leave a voice note, so that the caller knows that either you are sleeping or busy in some other call” . The DM accepted and moved on.

A simple question to all the DMs and DPs present here , is this a common practice by you all ? Although I am a veteran of TCS - still thought of asking . Any Thoughts 🤔?
