Trending @Cognizant; A-> SA promotion

What is the criteria for A to SA promotion at Cognizant? I have 7.5 years of total experience, with 3.5 years at Cognizant and a 4+ rating. I heard 2.5 PD RTO is mandatory, but no ODC is available at my location, so we’re working from home as per BU head’s instruction. Will this impact my promotion? Also, is there any automatic promotion process like in other companies?

How to know who my HR is?

You need to be in office for 8 days in a month and clocking avg of 4-5 hrs then you’ll be good, if BU has given u green light for wfh then rto won’t be an issue

Yes i have heard its depends on EDL who is responsible for IJM and they carry A-> SA promotion via IJM

For IJM:

In order to explore new opportunities, I need to be released from my current project. However, my manager is not releasing me at the moment, which is preventing me from moving forward. I can only proceed once I receive the necessary project release.

But as per my knowledge , they can decline your request of releasing from project only once and its also possible within same project where they will release you and hire you back
