What was the need to change identity of terrorist?
I’m sorry to say this, but Leftist have decided to whitewash the crimes of special community.
Have not watched it but from what I read online they have used the code names that the terrorists used during the hijacking as it is in the movie. The codenames were published by GOI in the brief too.
Didn’t realise RW is filled here also. Can’t you folks do your own research and see that the identity used in the series was Infact code names used by the terrorist? It’s part of the parliamentary speech given by then HM.
If you see the series you realise that they have clearly given complete names of the hijackers and shown involvement of ISI, etc. too.
I assume people here are atleast someone who can challenge such lies and find truth but I guess I am wrong.
In real life they did mention that. But in the series they didn't call out the real names of Muslim terrorists who did this. They tried to show terrorists as humans as if one of them felt bad while the airhostess was vomiting etc. Pretty sure that happened in real life? It's all about editing and perception in movies which they have exploited with a LW lens perspective.
Sir go and read passenger interviews from that time. You have to go to google, search for IC 814, use the time tool on desktop and select 12/1/1999 to 01/31/2000 you will get many news articles.
In those you will see how passengers only have described the hijackers. Not saying. Series is a reflection of that. I saw the series end to end when it came out - couldn’t even register Bhola and Shankar. Only registered Chief & Burger which is established were terrorists and bothers of another one who was already in Indian jail.

Whatever "humane" side that was shown was recounted by the hostages. I don't understand why showing that stuff is being considered "whitewashing". If a person kills someone and in the next moment provides food and water to someone else, does it make them less of a monster or are people supposed to be so fickle minded.

The show never nowhere justified their actions, but just shed some lights on what led to their actions and how they're brainwashed themselves.
And we people are literally not that chutiya who will think like bro this terrorist offered water to some passengers, so let's forgive them. No for fucks sake. Hang those motherfuckers as soon as you get the chance.
If you haven't watched the series and are just going with the propaganda, first go watch the series before you form your opinions. In no way were the terrorists humanised. They have shown some facts that were recounted by the hostages like they did play antakshari with the terrorists and they were provided food and water in Kandahar but they were equally brutal in beating people and even killing in cold blood. And just to show that they were muslims, they even mentioned that it was the month of Ramzan and they will be maintaining their fasts. In no way was it ever implied that the terrorists were Hindu.
