Will be moving to Bangalore in a couple of weeks so looking forward to rent a flat asap. The office is in Mahadevapura(Bagmane Tech park)

What are some good localities nearby where I could find apartments in a gated society?
What is the best means to find a flat? (NoBroker, MagicBricks or brokers or a literal house hunt on foot)
Do the brokers charge brokerage every year for renewal of rental agreement?(as is the case in Pune) Anything else to keep in mind?
