The most elaborate lie I told...

I am a software engineer in the cooperate. Everyday it feels empty. Yesterday was Monday. I told my manager my uncle was hospitalized. It was an elaborate lie. I just could not log in. I do like the stability here. But everything is so slow and boring. It completely took the fun part out of it. I went to the park instead. I just sat there. I did nothing. At the end of the day after 9 - 6, I have no energy left in me. Just mental exhaustion from pretending to work. I don't want to continue this lifestyle until my brain is incapable of feeling anything. So all I can have regrets in the end.
