Olympic Medals

In India, the weather is extremely hot for at least six months of the year, and the monsoon season lasts for around three months. The country lacks sufficient infrastructure for indoor training, which has contributed to its weaker performance in the Olympics. However, as the GDP grows and investment in sports infrastructure increases, India's medal count is likely to rise steadily.

Truly shameful indeed. Sports apart from cricket aren't really taken seriously in our country.

And you don't even need to compare with China. Pakistan has a gold medal. That's the situation

Maybe we should start with sports federations run by sportsmen and not politicians.

To be honest, our government's priority is feeding people and making them poop in their homes. So sports take backseat.

You should see what they go through, even from a very young age. The same thing doesn't happen here in india, priority to education trumps over sports.

Well the Chinese prep for the Olympics is no joke.
