Is 75% attendance rule even logical?

I've classmates who have 95% attendance and still don't know a single thing about any subjects and then there are people who have less attendance but score pretty good. Colleges are making education more and more boring. It feels like most students only go to college because they're scared of not getting to write exams due to low attendance.

It’s not logical. No one really cares about your attendance. Just don’t get a year back because of low attendance
