Client PoC project is common?

Hey everyone, I am 4YoE+ and have worked over 3 years in my career and I have always got client PoCs only (hectic, tight deadlines, rush hours and zero work-life balance). I have worked on an internal project once, but for the rest of it I have got client PoC projects. Really curious, is it common in industry or am I cursed?
