Career guidance

Hi I am a specialist programmer at Infosys which is a full stack developer role. I have a 1.5 years experience. I want to switch to a managerial role and not be into coding people say doing a mba helps in it but can someone tell me how can I switch without a mba or if I choose a option of executive/online mba will it help me to make this switch experienced people please take some time and reply to this post your guidance will be really appreciated
