Neobanks. Far less hassle, and a much easier tech stack.
You get to create an account within five mins n not have to run pillar to post.
I’d recommend Fi Money and Jupiter. Great apps! Good customer service. So far, I haven’t run into any issues they couldn’t fix.

Keep in mind that both Fi and Jupiter ties up with Federal bank, so you can only choose one. Not both.

Tech stack ka kya lena dena hai in banks? These neobanks will go bankrupt and then be gone with your hard earned cash. Always put your money in the banks with the least amount of risk.

HDFC's website and app feels like it is from 2015. ICICI's app is great but they spam you everyday.

SBI. Just get the account opened and do everything online. They don't put insane hidden charges on random services.
SBI is also the most preferred bank for loans because they don't send goons. Having a salary account with them builds up a good profile.

Yes, if you are also looking for ppf, it's also better.

Kotak FTW!!!

I’m with ICICI for my salary account. They’ve a robust app and the website is good too!
Haven’t had to visit the branch even once, so far and customer care is helpful.
Only complaint I have is that they very slyly call me and try to sell FDs. Sly because they don’t address it as a sales call, but a service call.
I spoke to my relationship manager regarding this and now these calls are almost nil.

Federal Bank is great.

DBS digibank if you just need it as a store you money. if you need other auxiliary banking products then ICICI.

From my experience, idfc is good. Till account opening customer support is good. Everything is online. Didn't face any problem rill now. Hdfc is outdated, they will not allow to open salary account if company names contains numbers lolll.. only thing I like about hdfc is netsafe virtual credit cards. Anyone knows any other banks providing the same ??
